Flow Like Water Poem
A blade of grass
Thrown in the air
Caught by the wind
Carried forward
Forward it travels
A wall appears
Without stopping
Goes up and over
As it moves on
A rail is seen
Approaching close
Without thinking
Under it goes
It continues onward
On its journey
To nowhere
But somewhere
The blade does not know
Where the wind will take it
Just moves on
Water is heard
Crashing against rocks
The wind arrives
Carrying the grass
It starts falling
Caught by the water
It continues the journey
Moving along
The current is unpredictable
Rocks in the way
The clear liquid circles around it
Grass follows
In the middle of the river
A slanted rock
The water tries to overcome
The blade of grass gets stuck
On the edge
Can’t move
Is picked up
Someone has found it
The person is running
A wall appears
Looks familiar
The person goes up
Up and right over
Earlier in its journey
The grass had done it before
The wall which the wind
Carried the blade over
The journey of the blade
Has not stopped
Still moving forward
Flying like the wind
Flowing like water
